BBC story:

The ashes of Star Trek actor James Doohan have been successfully launched into space from a site in New Mexico, watched by cheering fans.

As much as I loved "Scotty", he always seemed to have problems with the warp drive that other Star Trek engineers didn't have. Maybe Scotty could have been a better engineer, but he had style though, and is sorely missed by me. God bless you, Scotty.
