Draft Al Gore Video

(UPDATE - Larkin has an update with fresh poll numbers that are showing Gore stronger than Hillary in New Hampshire. - Lee)

After snatching the Draft Gore Committee's Iowa radio ad for Gore and posting it yesterday I looked around their site and came across the video linked above. There's no narration; it's just a still-photo montage set to music.

There will be plenty of time ahead for issues and platforms, which is good because you won't find any real substance in this video -- but what the video offers is a nostalgic look back at some images from Gore's early life and his terms in office, as well as some insight into the 'branding' effort underway by the Draft Gore folks.

It isn't news, and it isn't entertainment, so I guess it's Infotainment.

Each passing day underscores the mistake in the title; it should have been 'Convenient Untruths'.
