Presidential hopeful John Edwards, appearing on CNN's HARDBALL with Chris Matthews June 27, 2007 - the day after wife Elizabeth's confrontation with Ann Coulter on the same program - responds to his wife's bitch-slapping of Ann Coulter, and addresses the hate-mongering tactics of the right-wing in America.
"That's a lot of what we see from these people that are just... that are crazies.""There's nothing remotely mainstream about them, and normal people are repelled by them."

Edwards is Dukakis redux. W could squeak out a third term against this trial lawyer. And the rolling pin offensive by the Missus (on Johnnie's behalf!) was pretty/really bad, too.
What WERE they thinking? Shaming Ann Coulter? Puh-leeeze!
And did Chris call the Mrs. the greatest woman ever born? Almost? MSM.come.in.MSM...

BryanD -- Coulter's rant in that clip you linked to is an example of what is referred to in the right wing JackOff-O-Sphere as 'watching her head explode.'
