Robert Greenwald: Fox Attacks Global Warming

Robert Greenwald's film production company BraveNew Films has released a 2.5 minute video clip documenting the misinformation and smear campaign being waged by the Fox News clowns over Global Warming.

In March we all took on Fox and we beat them. Bad. The Nevada Fox-sponsored presidential debates were cancelled when our videos showing Fox's distortions were spread far and wide. Local bloggers worked like crazy, activists around the country wrote and called, and MoveOn used their strategic strength and smarts to bring it all home.

Now Fox is at it again. The only surprise this time is the amount of time and energy they are putting into denying that the sun sets in the west. Okay, well not exactly, but pretty close. They are fighting the scientific truth of the climate crisis and are claiming it just isn't so! I'm not kidding. Take a look at the video evidence, you won't believe what you see. (Well, maybe you will)

At the end of the film Greenwald targets Fox advertiser Home Depot, with a call to action to sign a petition which calls for Home Depot to stop advertising on Fox... "a network that consistently spreads misinformation about and denies the existence of global warming.".

Seen enough? Now it's time to get to work. Join with us, the Sierra Club, and MoveOn to put an end to this propaganda and distortion by appealing to Fox's advertisers.

Specifically, Home Depot. Why? Because Home Depot says they care about the environment. So we're giving them a chance to prove it by asking them to stop advertising on Fox until it changes its lies and distortions about the climate crisis.

Tell Home Depot to stop advertising on Fox!

No responsible company claiming to support the environment should be advertising with a corporation that consistently deceives America about the climate crisis. Rupert Murdoch says he wants to "get their house in order." Let's help him along by applying pressure to his bank accounts.

UPDATE: Pastor Tom, who blogs under the title of 'Engaging Your World' calls Greenwald a "terrorist" for calling for a boycott of Home Depot, in a blog post titled ' BIN LADEN, ZARCHAWI, GREENWALD, KENNEDY JR. ARE THEY REALLY THAT DIFFERENT?.'

The ad shows a variety of commentators and guest who have appeared on Fox who have had the audacity to disagree with the man made global warming position. This is a telling move as it displays the character or lack of with these people. It is not dialog or debate they are looking for, rather, submission to their agenda. This is not unlike the Jihadists who seek to convert at the end of a sword. Believe what we believe or lose your life. The global warming proponents are saying, believe what we believe or lose your livelihood. The consequences might be different, but the methodology is the same.

You are no longer free in our society to disagree with global warming. If you do, then you will pay the price the global warming terrorists deem fitting. By the way, Greenwald was not the only global warming terrorist to advocate boycotts, I give you the one and only Robert F. Kennedy Jr.;

"The next time you see John Stossel, or Glenn Beck, or Rush Limbaugh or Sean Hannity - these flat earthers, these corporate toadies, lying to you, lying to the American public and telling you that global warming doesn't exist - you send an e-mail to their advertisers and tell them you're not going to buy their products anymore," Kennedy said"

The terrorists have spoken!

In Pastor Tom''s world only those Americans whose opinions are in line with his own are entitled to those opinions, and anyone else is a 'terrorist' just like Osama bin-Laden.

Apparently Pastor Tom is a life-long member of the Church of the Hole-Laden Logic.

U.P. Man:

Other than on the OPINION shows, would you point out a smear?

Would you also, tell me how disagreeing with somebody is "misinformation" ?

Thank you

It's a good time to be a skeptick.

U.P. Man:

You're update proves the point.

If you disagree with the global warming is man made crowd you must be an idiot at best.

The man made global warming crowd doesn't even want you to voice your opinion or contradictory facts. It is their way or shut up, and if you advertise on a program or channel that promotes a different point of view boycott on.

See what Vaclev Havel said recently about there being a greater threat to freedom from the global warming crowd than there is to the world's climate.

It's cosmic rays, boys and girls, and magnetism. Too much correlation.
