Praying for mantis. Or Preying. Wasn't Wilson supposed to be working for this dude? Now he's backing Hillary, a marriage made in heaven, or forced by fate.

Hey, what about she and Schumer voting with the Republicans to continue to allow New Yorkers to report, in good faith of course, suspicious packages under train seats?

Wow, you are completely obsessed with Wilson. I don't believe he was working for Richardson, but I may be wrong. They do know each other from back when Richardson was UN Ambassador.

Hey, what about she and Schumer voting with the Republicans to continue to allow New Yorkers to report, in good faith of course, suspicious packages under train seats?

Yeah, that was dumb. The good faith & reasonable suspicion provision was in there.

This is mantis's way of admitting I know more about something than he does.

Check out the Richardson thing, mantis. I'm almost sure Wilson made noise about working with Richardson. It would raise him in my eyes if Richardson already repudiated Joe. The mystery to me is why the Clinton campaign has apparently embraced him.

How come the rest of the Democrats didn't follow these two high profile, I repeat VERY HIGH PROFILE, Democratic leaders in their John Doe vote?

Lee Ward:
Former Ambassador Joe Wilson said Monday that his endorsement of U.S. Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton for president shouldn't be seen as a slight against New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson or any other Democratic contender.

Wilson, who moved to Santa Fe from Washington, D.C., in March, pointed to his long friendship with the New York senator and her husband, former President Clinton, as well as her opposition to the Iraq war and her leadership.

``It was tough because it's a great field of Democratic candidates,'' Wilson said, ``and Bill Richardson, of course, is a great candidate, and I liked him a lot,''[...]

The former ambassador said he did not have nearly as many discussions with Richardson's campaign, but he only had kind words to say about New Mexico's governor Monday. ``I like the governor very much,'' Wilson said, ``and I think he has a lot to offer our country.''

The endorsement drew derisive comments from conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh, who on Monday called Wilson a ``pimple on a pig's butt'' and said Wilson's endorsement ``isn't going to do diddly-squat.''

According to a transcript posted on Limbaugh's Web site, the commentator also said of Wilson: ``He went out to Santa Fe just to hang around with the Arts-and-Croissant Crowd out there -- you know, group hugs and the like.''

Lee Ward:

I think Richardson is still in the running as a viable VP, although I believe Obama as VP to Clinton or Gore has more to offer in terms of increasing the 'electability' of a Democrat ticket.

kim:

Heh, there's a nearby border almost as poorly patrolled as the Niger-Libya one.

Lee Ward:

"Heh, there's a nearby border almost as poorly patrolled as the Niger-Libya one."

You're raising this obvious and well-documented failure of the Republican Administration because ...?

kim:

Ha ha, Bill in Az figured it out. Joe Wilson is Richardson's Trojan Horse to the Clinton camp.
