The purpose of this post is to announce the end of my career as a writer for Wizbang Blue. While I have immensely enjoyed the opportunity to write here I feel I can no longer associate with this site given the fact that one of the authors insists on pursuing this story. I strongly feel that Wizbang Blue should not be in the business of promoting the salacious accusations of some unknown idiot who happens to have a webcam. We should have higher standards than that. The fact that the post described the claims as "farcical" doesn't obscure the fact that this clown has been given publicity he doesn't deserve.
It is certainly not my place however to censor this sort of content. I'm sure there are plenty of blogs that are promoting this story and if Wizbang chooses to be one of them then so be it. In a group blog like this I believe every author's reputation is indirectly connected to everyone else's reputation. My only recourse is to withdraw my own participation in the site. I'd rather focus my attention and energies on a higher level of discourse.
