Wow, no wonder she's ignoring the bleating ObamaSheep calling for her to quit.
In a Democratic Primary in Kentucky today, 03/31/08, 7 weeks till the votes are counted, Hillary Clinton defeats Barack Obama 58% to 29%, according to a SurveyUSA poll conducted for WHAS-TV Louisville and WCPO-TV Cincinnati. Clinton leads narrowly in greater Louisville, but leads decisively in other parts of the state, including 4:1 in Eastern KY. Obama trails by 20 among men, trails by 37 among women.
Oh, that's right -- Barack just hasn't started spending money in Kentucky as he's spending it in Pennsylvania, where he's outspending Clinton 5 to 1, and still lags far behind in the polls.
Kentucky menthodology: 1,600 state of KY adults were interviewed 03/28/08 through 03/30/08. Of them, 1,454 were registered to vote. Of them, 572 were determined by SurveyUSA to be likely to vote in the 05/20/08 closed Democratic Primary.
And the results?
Update: I just received an Obama campaign email that reads in part:
We're fighting a battle on two fronts. Senator McCain is attacking from one side, intent on suggesting that a third term of George Bush's policies is somehow the best path for our country. Meanwhile, Senator Clinton is attacking from the other, because her campaign has flatly stated that tearing us down is her only chance to win.
Obama is publicly saying Clinton can stay in the race as long as she wants, and at the same time he's whining to his supporters that he's under 'attack' from Clinton who's determined to 'tear us down'... poor baby!
Is he going to roll over and cry like this when the Republicans come after him with a vengeance? Does he hope to win the general election based on sympathy points? poor Barack!
