American businesses faced the biggest annual jump in wholesale prices in 27 years last month, just as the stumbling economy caused consumer spending to drop.

He just seems to be the perfect (meaning liberal) counterpoint to McCain, with a lot more experience and knowledge than McCain in foreign policy matters. Howard Fineman argued Biden's case at MSNBC a couple hours ago: Within the last few...

Note that in the furor over McCain's absence from the supposed "cone of silence" at the Saddleback forum last Saturday night, the McCain campaign is repeatedly stating that McCain did not hear any of the proceedings... but they aren't saying he wasn't coached or fed the questions by someone who did hear the broadcast, are they...?

During Saturday night's forum in Saddleback, Senator John McCain was asked what income level constituted "rich" - and he answered $5 million or more. Other millionaires ($2 million... $3 million,... $4 million...) aren't rich, in McCain's view, and shouldn't be taxed as if they were... It makes you wonder just how out of touch John McCain is with most of Americans. So does this video...

This just in:
Obama continued:
Now, in terms of knowing my commitments, you don't have to just look at my words, you can look at my deeds. Just this past week, we passed out of the U.S. Senate Banking Committee, which is my committee, a bill to call for divestment from Iran, as a way of ratcheting up the pressure to ensure that they don't obtain a nuclear weapon.
But Obama is not a member of the Senate Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs Committee. Obama just made that up so he could count the committee's action as one of "my deeds."
Even a Senator as inattentive to his duties as Obama certainly knows what committees he serves on. For him to fabricate the claim, out of whole cloth, that the Senate Banking Committee is "[his] committee," strikes me as another sign of Obama's megalomania. That, plus more evidence that he is totally at sea without a teleprompter.
Enjoy

Stay on topic here, tyree. I know you probably wet yourself when you read the post about Obame's gaffe over at Wizbang, but if you can't comment on the topic of the post, don't comment. These comment threads are not your personal graffiti walls, dig?
I won't delete it this time, next time I will.
As to your comment re: Obama, it's easily explained. Of course, you haven't read the explanation because the right wing blogger who wrote the post you read wet themselves with excitement, and didn't bother digging around for the explanation.
Obama meant to say "my bill" instead of "my committee".
Pretty simple explanation, but apparently not simple enough....

Lee, don't be too hard on the poor troll, as it's fun watching these people in the first stages of ODS. They blamed everyone who didn't agree with them had BDS, well we are seeing the ODS coming out.
