Right Wing Tea Bagging Extremists at Work (video)

A perfect clip demonstrating the extent to which the right wing extremists nutcakes were out in full force yesterday at the "Tea Bagging" parties.

A "prime example" of the lunacy of the right at work:

You can see the old fart in the blue jacket with the sign on his shoulder come over and bump the reporter while she's talking to the man with the child. The tall man with child even tells him to stop it...

And then the lunatic crowd gets angry at her...

The extremists on the right are encouraging people to buy guns and arm themselves. That's how crazy they've become.

Right Wing Nut:

You said, "The extremists on the right are encouraging people to buy guys and arm themselves."

Where can I buy a guy?

Lee Ward:

Gun shows - no background checks required. You can plop down your cash and walk out. The GOP is fighting efforts to overturn that kind of lunacy.

And stick to one username, Cindy.

Steve:

Seriously, Lee, you watch this video and the only thing you see is the "nutcakes" in the crowd? What exactly do these people do or say to qualify themselves as nutcakes?

What I see is a "reporter" who provokes a person at a rally. Where does she get off interrupting him and demanding, "What does this have to do with taxes?" How rude and unprofessional! Then she starts to lecture him about taxes while talking over the top of him. Is she out there to report the news or to make news? She clearly antagonizes the this man and therefore the crowd as a whole and then she cries foul! It's hilarious. Very childish behavior.

John:

Steve, Lee just showed you how he views the world through his eyes.

Lee Ward:

Who said that was the only thing I saw - I just commented on that aspect of it?

"Where does she get off interrupting him and demanding, "What does this have to do with taxes?" "

The fact is that this was billed as anti-tax rally - hint - that's why it was scheduled on April 15th. Sheesh...

and by asking "What does this have to do with tax day" she was asking a simple question - reporters do that - it's only "provocation" if you're a lunatic hyped up and slobbering thanks to Fox News and the ideologue asses (like our troll John) - provoking you into believing that you're under attack.

You aren't commenting on the subject of the post - the harassing crowd and the ass in the blue jacket who bumps the reporter. And you aren't defending their actions either - so I assume you agree with the substance of the post.

Changing the subject, as John is doing evry chance he gets, is the sign of a weak argument, Steve.

Why is the reporter being bumped by the protesters and shouted down by the crowd?

traci:

Let not him who is houseless pull down the house of another, but let him work diligently and build one for himself, thus by example assuring that his own shall be safe from violence when built.
Abraham Lincoln

AJ:

While most people are talking about how outrageous and out of touch the reporter is for harassing protesters (especially since she was very happy to call a Bush mask with a Hitler moustache and devil horns a "Bush Lookalike" at a liberal rally), Lee is calling the protesters "nutcakes." Typical.

Rich Fader:

You're saying Bobby Gibbs' future understudy there is the heroine of that clip? That's your story? No, sweetie, you're there to cover the demo, not argue with the protestors. That is what you call your basic EPIC FAIL.

Heh. Fess up. You guys are Republican moles, aren't you? Rove planted you to make the left look stupid, didn't he? The Magnificent Bastard strikes again!

Indie:

Seems the right (as usual) is unwilling to factor in the costs of the damage down in the previous 8 years. This is about having to pay for programs that have not been instituted for many years because if we are going to have a nation in five years we have got to start now.

Paul Hooson:

That "liberty" dork guy actually fathered a child? Boy, women have sure let their standards down these days.

It doesn't make any sense to try to talk facts to a douche bag guy like that. Facts are way over his head.

Good video.

Steve:

Lee, see if you can follow my argument. Don't label it "weak" just because you can't follow logic. The subject of your post was how this video demonstrated "nutcases" out in "full force". I simply said that I saw something very different (it's called 'disagreeing with your basic premise") and asked a simple (still-unanswered) question as to what these people do in the video that justifies the label "nutcase". I see a reporter who rudely interrupts and shouts over the man she is supposedly interviewing before he can get to the tax connection (I'd love to see this woman ask President Obama a question at a press conference! She'd have five or ten minutes to repeatedly ask, "What's that got to do with my question??"). Since she's rude to the man, his fellow protesters get irritated and rude towards her. Human nature. I just don't see how "rude/irritated" and "nutcase" are the same thing.

Even Jon Stewart saw the same thing I saw! (That's really weird!) Did you happen to see his clip from the Daily Show on this incident?

Steve:

In case anyone hasn't seen it, Jon Stewart points out that the reporter was supposed to be there as a journalist, not a counter-protester.

I think the "liberty dork" (as Paul describes him) shows great and admirable restraint in the face of being shouted down by a counter-protester. And counter-protesters could reasonably expect worse treatment than the "bump" the "old fart" (as Lee describes him) gave this woman. Still not sure where the nutcases are. I don't even call the reporter a nutcase - I call her unprofessional and suffering from a martyr complex.

John:

Lee, I stand by my statement, you saw what you wanted to see. Most other logical people saw and can hear in the video is a "journalist" who was rude trying to interject talking points and the crowd telling her "Let him finish!" I mean, let's be honest, how great of a journalist is she by the way? I am still trying to find this state of Lincoln she claims that is to receive money, is that one of Obama's 57?

Steve is right, she wants to treat people rudely, don't be surprised to receive the same treatment. But again, what you saw were "extremists". They weren't the nice fellows breaking down police barricades or planting bombs at military recruiting stations...

And Paul, a typical liberal to judge people by their looks...

Burt:

Too bad the lady didn't interview me. Then the camera would have had some great footage of her getting a microphone stuffed in her left nostril. And, then you would have a post that would make sense.

Lee Ward:

Thanks for the "nutcake" demo up close and personal, Burt.

Burt:

No problem Lee, You're welcome.

Christina Viering:

Interesting.

leslie:

look at negativity this video has created. is this really worth anyone's attention?

Lee Ward:

Demystifying the right wing extremism behind the Teabaggers is very much worth the attention this video received - most definitely.
