Miss California Too Busy Being A "Party Girl" To Do Official Duties

The Miss California circus only continues. It seems according to INSIDE EDITION, Carrie Prejean, was too busy partying and club hopping in Atlanta the other day, celebrating her 22nd birthday with friends, to appear with other members of the Miss California USA Pageant on LARRY KING LIVE to try to defend the reputation of the organization. One member of the Miss California organization has now quit over disgust with Carrie Prejean for failure to honor her official duties. And another has voiced anger at her for failing to appear on LARRY KING LIVE as well, when it was required for her to do so. LARRY KING LIVE films at CNN studios in Atlanta, so Prejean had no excuse not to attend this important Television news program, since she was in town. But Prejean preferred to drink and party with friends instead. carrie prejean.bmp

And according to INSIDE EDITION, Prejean also failed to show up at a second scheduled event. And instead booked herself for a silly appearance on FOX instead. Reportedly, at least one Pageant official was angry at this as well.

Donald Trump might have supported Prejean the other day. But officials of the Miss USA Pageant are getting very tired of the circus antics of Prejean where the possibility she may be fired or more pageant officials may resign still remains a very real possibility.

Since her appearance on the Miss USA Pageant, Prejean has brought nothing but controversy and disgrace to the even due to her antGay marriage remarks, topless photos, absurd explanations and now partying rather than showing up for official duties as Miss California. Some conservatives still continue to support her, apparently attempting to deny the fact that she's simply a very poor representative for the Miss USA Pageant organization. Prejean may also cost the organization a great deal of money in lost commercial sponsorships as well, so at some point Donal Trump needs to think like a businessman here, and not with his, well you know what, and realize that Prejean may be pretty, but she's also pretty much a disaster for the pageant.

Mac Lorry:
The Miss California circus only continues.

And Trump loves it. He makes money off of publicity and Prejean has made him more than all the other members of the Miss Californian USA Pageant combined.

One member of the Miss California organization has now quit over disgust with Carrie Prejean for failure to honor her official duties.

She quite, but because she is a gay rights activist, and Playboy centerfold, who didn't like Trump's decision.

And another has voiced anger at her for failing to appear on LARRY KING LIVE as well, when it was required for her to do so.

Trump let her have her birthday off to be with friends and family.

And according to INSIDE EDITION, Prejean also failed to show up at a second scheduled event. And instead booked herself for a silly appearance on FOX instead.

That was Trump's idea. He gets a lot of air time on Fox.

Donald Trump might have supported Prejean the other day. But officials of the Miss USA Pageant are getting very tired of the circus antics of Prejean where the possibility she may be fired or more pageant officials may resign still remains a very real possibility.

Trump is more likely to fire the pageant officials than his golden girl.

Since her appearance on the Miss USA Pageant, Prejean has brought nothing but controversy and disgrace to the even due to her antGay marriage remarks, topless photos, absurd explanations and now partying rather than showing up for official duties as Miss California.

Accept for her support for traditional marriage, she fits right in with the rest of Hollywood. Did you know Prejean is a democrat? Did you know many democrats in California voted against gay marriage?

Some conservatives still continue to support her, apparently attempting to deny the fact that she's simply a very poor representative for the Miss USA Pageant organization.

What I and many conservatives support is the right of Prejean to give her own opinion in response to a gay activist's loaded question without the moralphobic hate crowd trying to destroy her. What the hell dos the Miss USA Pageant organization stand for anyway? It's a beauty contest, not a moral or academic achievement contest. No one in their right mind would pay attention to the opinions of some child who won a beauty contest. Prejean's opinion about marriage didn't change anyone's mind on the subject, but the vicious attacks by the moralphobic hate group did damage the good will toward gays, so much so that various gay groups have distances themselves from these stupid attacks. Didn't you get the memo, Paul?

Lee Ward:

Mac Lorry's alternate reality notwithstanding, Prejean's 15 minutes of fame is down to about 10 minutes now.

10:03.... 10:02... 10:01... 10:00... 9:59... 9:58...

She's left her indelible mark on America -- as the pre-teen surgically enhanced hypocritical bimbo spokesperson for Republican hatred towards gays.

I only wish she'd stay in the headlines for another 3 years and 8 months, but hopefully she'll make a comeback towards election time.

The GOP proved their ineptitude by making "Joe the Plumber" their spokesperson in 2008, and we can only hope Prejean has a similar role in the 2010 and 2012 elections.

Doubting Thomas:

"as the pre-teen surgically enhanced hypocritical bimbo spokesperson for Republican hatred towards gays."

Seems to me like the only one 'hating' here is you, Lee. But then, maybe the following is somehow a signal to ALL gay-hating Republicans... despite her being a Democrat.

"I think it's great Americans are able to choose one or the other," she said. "We live in a land that you can choose same-sex marriage or opposite marriage. And you know what in my country, in my family I think that I believe that a marriage should be between a man and a woman. No offense to anybody there, but that's how I was raised and that's how I think it should be, between a man and a woman."

Oh, the HORROR! I can't believe she's calling for the stoning of gays! I can't believe she's pushing for death for anyone who even LOOKS at a member of the same sex with lust in their hearts.

Oh, wait. I'm confusing what she said with militant Islam. My bad...

She gave her opinion, Perez got pissed off by it, and at that point things snowballed. If he hadn't gone on with that snarky vid, nobody would have cared. HE's the one who pushed this into prominence by being a whiny little snot who couldn't STAND anyone having a different opinion!

And she's not backing down from her opinion, despite the criticism she's received. That's what really ticks you off, isn't it? She's not backing down - and you HATE that.

Either that, or you just get obsessed with women who don't agree with your take on things...

Mike:

Wow Lee, all the trashing of this girl coming from you is amazing considering your slinging around of the word gay like it was something bad when you called Baron von Ottomatic's name gay. I guess it's only alright to be non-pc about gays when it's coming from you but not from anyone else? Is that about right?

GarandFan:

One comment from one beauty contestant really has all you 'progressives' tied up it knots. What gives? Don't have a puppy to torture? Fly to pull the wings off of?

Really shows the "depth" of your character.

Mac Lorry:
She's left her indelible mark on America -- as the pre-teen surgically enhanced hypocritical bimbo spokesperson for Republican hatred towards gays.

She's a democrat, and like many democrats she's opposed to gay marriage. You don't like her because she's to the right of you, but then so are 99% of the people in the U.S. Talk about extremism, check the mirror.

Lee Ward:

She's a democrat?

Says who?

Not Prejean... I've read her quotes, and she refuses to identify her political party.

But Mac Lorry knows for a fact she's a Democrat --- and he wouldn't lie.

Would you, Mac?

GianiD:

Which really is the party of tolerance?

Mac Lorry:
Not Prejean... I've read her quotes, and she refuses to identify her political party.

And yet you claim she's a spokesperson for "Republican hatred towards gays", which is a lie if you don't know her party affiliation. Do you also dispute that many democrats are opposed to gay marriage?

If you watched her interviews and comments on Fox you would know she's an Obama supporter, not a Republican or spokesperson for Republicans as you claim.

Looks like you caught yourself in a lie, Lee.

Bunker:

The gay hating Obama administration has taken to calling Miss California a "Dog". The fact that the homophobic gay haters in charge in Washington are trashing a young Democrat for exorcising her free speech is yet another sign of Obama's hard swing to the Right.

Allen:

Someone speaks the truth to what they believe in, never smearing any person or group, and some retards just go wild. I see that here and on the sister sight.

Makes me laugh, all this fuss over some idiot asking a stupid question, and receives a truthful answer he can't handle. Isn't there more serious problems to discuss than what some beautiful young lady says to Mr. Hilton?

Lee, you're beating a dead horse here, very few people will support your position on this. This country let 14% of the population take God and prayer away from us in public places, and no way is 19% (or whatever it is) going to destroy/change the definition of marriage.

Yes, gays should have the same rights, and civil unions will give them that. And also, seeing as I'm not political correct, I call it as I see it from my point of view. And I would have gave Hilton an answer he probably would have messed his depends when he heard it.

Paul Hooson:

Hello Allen. I certainly understand your continued thoughts on this tired story here. However, I think that Prejean's answer to the question on Gay marriage is more symptomatic of her entire life philosophy of not really taking much of anything very seriously and each new revelation to this evolving story brings fresh evidence to that fact.

Certainly Prejean has her own right to any political, social or religious views. However, her character seems at odds with some of those stated views as well. And failing to attend required duties is another sign of someone not really that serious about much of anything.

I just feel that she is so flawed that she never deserved the embrace by some social conservatives. She's not really one of them, or a good hero for them to embrace.

And for some reason, the Prejean story has been pretty good for ratings around here at Wizbang Blue as well. So that only tends to give this story more legs than it would likely normally deserve. Unfortunately some far more serious pieces I've done addressing my favorite issues such as the economy, foreign policy, law, business, consumer affairs, etc. have gotten far less response by some readers here, while yet another Carrie Prejean story is ratings gold around here. Go figure?

Allen:

Paul, IMO, all people have flaws. I know I do. But because of her honest reply to a stupid question, her whole life is under siege. I feel sorry for her. And do you remember some of the crazy things you did at that age? I remember in school saying the pledge to the flag and country. Today that doesn't happen because 14% of the people hate the word GOD. So now the pledge isn't said.

I also remember corporal punishment by the teachers, and when you got home, you got it again by your parents. It hurt at the time, oh ya did it ever, but you learned not to screw up. And did it have long term effects? Yes, it makes a person realize what is right and wrong. The pain doesn't last, but the memory does.

My generation was raised that way, and look what that generation accomplished in this country. We don't need slogans to honor our troops, as we (most of us) were troops at one time or other.

I'm not saying I'm correct in this, but some of the "family values", the real family values, not the GOP version, should be brought back to our schools and homes.

We raised our 5 children the way we were raised, plenty of love, and discipline when needed. Today, all are college grads, & 2 with their masters. And none with a rap sheet. They knew not to get into trouble. And there are plenty of other people who raised their kids the way we did.

But thanks to a few idiots, to discipline your children today is forbidden. I'm not talking about abusing a child, I'm talking about discipline. Our schools no longer can do it, parents no longer (legally) be/can do it. Then you wonder why a 17 year old may pose for some pictures? Hell you see worse pictures on TV and the internet.

Fuc Ku:

WTF? I could care less .This is a media created "story" that has no real validity. Its beauty pageant, which is a throwback to a more repressed ,screwed up era.Carrie,Perez,Donald,et al are all publicity whores. In 5 years or less,at least 2 of the 3 will be forgotten,Thankfully. There are WAY more important matters to get your knickers in a wad over...This is just media trying to divert our attention from the real, substantial matters of the day..
