The conservative "media monitoring" site Newsbusters is busily swiftboating John Weiler, a lifelong Republican who appears in the MoveOn.org sponsored Obama TV ad competition winner. It looks to me like they may have gotten this one wrong - dead wrong,...

In the 30-second spot, U.S. Air Force vet John Weiler says he's a lifelong Republican who served under Presidents Reagan and George H.W. Bush but will vote for Obama because he can unite the "left, right, Democrats, and Republicans." [Director] Mungia, an Obama supporter, said he was inspired by an Obama meeting in California attended by an "independent, a Democrat, and a Republican sitting side by side" and "passionate about the same issues."

The Clinton campaign has launched two new ads (see video). The first is for Texas. Despite the feel-good closing in last night's debate that earned a standing ovation, in her Texas ad Clinton continues to obliquely hit on Obama as all hat and no cattle with this "rolling up her sleeves and getting to work" ad, while the Ohio ad keys off Hillary's midwestern roots and her endorsement former astronught and U.S. Senator John Glenn.

John McCain's hit piece (embedded below) against Romney is pure GOP bullshit. McCain is the clown who makes jokes about bombing Iran, and his experience is what's needed in Washington? Update: from the NYT: Senator John McCain, who has long...

Romney's attack ads misrepresent facts. Case in point, this attack piece on McCain regarding Immigration: In one Romney television ad running in New Hampshire, the announcer calls rival Sen. John McCain "an honorable man" then goes on to ask "but...

This report pretty much echoes my own sentiment after watching Palin last night. She's a great little Teleprompter reader, and she reads the stand-up comedy one-liners fed to her by the McCain speech writing team like a champ, but other than her ability to smirk on cue there wasn't much to brag about in her speech - just 'more of the same' attack lines, interspersed with 'more of the same' applause lines.
