Increasingly, these world power rivals of the U.S., all united by oil will draw in other anti-U.S. states and create a dangerous axis of anti-American oil powers and states that hate the U.S. And as oil prices still hover near record levels, the amount of vast income generated will only help to fuel the purchase or building of new and more dangerous military hardware by these anti-American oil states.

The American news media has certainly focused far less on Iraq news coverage since "the surge" has resulted in far less deaths of American service persons. Unfortunately viewing this war in a prism of how it impacts only the U.S.,...

It's certainly disturbing news that Congress approved a $400 million dollar budget for the U.S. to pay for more covert action within Iran. And it's certainly disturbing news that the absurd shared foreign policy of Bush and McCain is built...

Hopefully this report will move the nation one step closer to possible charges against the current administration for war crimes. I firmly believe that the only way to stop this horrendous abuse of power is to prosecute.

Last October I pointed to the Pentagon's funding of a super "bunker-buster" as possible evidence of run-up to a US attack on Iran. The timetable suggested at that time was for a Summer 2008 attack. That's looking even more likely now, in the light of Admiral Fallon's resignation.

Wizbang Blue's Paul Hooson takes a look in his crystal ball at the megatrends that may be triggered by the recent spike in oil prices, the economic downturn in the U.S., China's accelerating inflation rate, the war in Iraq and the prospect of war in Iran, Kosovo's independence and Fidel Castro's resignation.

Barack Obama's ties to Tony Rezko may be a lot deeper and lot more convoluted than previously revealed, and there are signs that Islamic interests may be represented in some strangely 'disconnected yet connected' way as well.

When Mahmoud Ahmadinejad ran for president of Iran, he promised improvements for the Iranian economy which have grone mostly unmet, and instead he has been involved in near nonstop political frictions with the U.S. and Western states over the nuclear program in Iran and other issues. All of this has only helped to galvanize more and more opposition to Ahmadinejad, who has ramped up political repression of his opponents rather than really improve the nation of Iran or live up to his numerous unmet campaign promises.

Here's another video clip that's got the Internet buzzing - Barack's refusal to grant interviews with Fox has been quietly ignored prior to this, but with Obama vaulting to the front of the Democratic pack the past asshattery at Fox...

In an amazing display of political ineptitude Mike Huckabee demonstrated just how ill-informed and out-of-touch he is with respect to foreign relations (emphasis mine). Huckabee knew nothing about intel report on Iran More than 24 hours after the White House...

With the U.S. paying over $100 million a month in support and aid to the military dictatorship government in Pakistan since 9/11, combined with the new crackdown on political opposition, the big question is whether the U.S. is supporting the...

A few days ago, I reported on how Iran had been slowing the flow of weapons into Iraq. Now, it appears we've decided to reciprocate: The US military in Iraq says it intends to release nine Iranians being held there,...
