Increasingly, these world power rivals of the U.S., all united by oil will draw in other anti-U.S. states and create a dangerous axis of anti-American oil powers and states that hate the U.S. And as oil prices still hover near record levels, the amount of vast income generated will only help to fuel the purchase or building of new and more dangerous military hardware by these anti-American oil states.

The American news media has certainly focused far less on Iraq news coverage since "the surge" has resulted in far less deaths of American service persons. Unfortunately viewing this war in a prism of how it impacts only the U.S.,...

Lately, there have been some undercurrents of nervousness with Democrats that Obama in his new emphasis, that he is mainstream American and not a wide-eyed radical, may be abandoning some of his liberal positions. I shared some of those concerns...

The GOP has definitely become the "Gas and Oil Party." It's time for us to use our heads, and not listen to the Republicans, they'll lie to use time and time again.... President Bush just appeared on national television imploring...

Sacrificing American lives for the good of their political party. Can we afford to have Republicans in power any longer?

Hopefully this report will move the nation one step closer to possible charges against the current administration for war crimes. I firmly believe that the only way to stop this horrendous abuse of power is to prosecute.

It's beginning to look like Barack Obama, at times, just can't stop himself form lying. He lied about when he know of Reverend Wright's controversial sermons, and now he's back int he headlines again because he still can't put down the lie about Senator John McCain's statement regarding "100 years in Iraq."

For the $500 billion dollar cost of this war in Iraq, the U.S. really hasn't achieved very much so far. The weak central government only survives from day to day with strong U.S. support. That's the honest truth.

Barack Obama has openly changed his style of late, eschewing his usual highfaluting oratory for some down-home straight talk of his own in Pennsylvania, favoring Townhall gatherings to packing the stadiums as he has for his big tent revival meetings of the past. Now we can see the danger of Barack Obama actually talking about the issues. Bottom-line - he sucks at it.

The US appears to being pulled deeper into the malestrom of Iraq, all the while our leader utters 'Polonius' sounding statements.. President Bush said Friday that 'the flare-up' in violence in oil-rich southern Iraq and parts of Baghdad presents "a...

Last month American deaths hit a low point of just 29. But with the renewed violence in Iraq this month, as well as the 33% upswing in Iraqi civilian deaths in February, it is plain to see that any new security arrangements since the "Surge" have been compromised as the radicals have found new ways around this security to launch their deadly attacks and to plummet Iraq back into a terrible cycle of nearly uncontrolled violence once again.

Wizbang Blue's Paul Hooson takes a look in his crystal ball at the megatrends that may be triggered by the recent spike in oil prices, the economic downturn in the U.S., China's accelerating inflation rate, the war in Iraq and the prospect of war in Iran, Kosovo's independence and Fidel Castro's resignation.

Barack Obama's ties to Tony Rezko may be a lot deeper and lot more convoluted than previously revealed, and there are signs that Islamic interests may be represented in some strangely 'disconnected yet connected' way as well.

For all of Hillary's endless complaining about a "vast right-wing conspiracy", when it matters, she has often foolishly given it the benefit of the doubt in her brief career in elective office. The most glaring example was Senator Clinton's war...

Once he is whipped like a dog in today's Florida primary Cutie-Rudy will be toast. Good riddance. But before he fades into obscurity here's just a few of Rudy's most Memorable Moments... ------ In the May, 2007 Republican Debate Ron Paul spoke the truth and Rudy Giuliani tried his best to deny it -- trying to the keep the foggy illusion of moral righteousness alive for the U.S. Conservative movement in America.

Note that in the furor over McCain's absence from the supposed "cone of silence" at the Saddleback forum last Saturday night, the McCain campaign is repeatedly stating that McCain did not hear any of the proceedings... but they aren't saying he wasn't coached or fed the questions by someone who did hear the broadcast, are they...?

During Saturday night's forum in Saddleback, Senator John McCain was asked what income level constituted "rich" - and he answered $5 million or more. Other millionaires ($2 million... $3 million,... $4 million...) aren't rich, in McCain's view, and shouldn't be taxed as if they were... It makes you wonder just how out of touch John McCain is with most of Americans. So does this video...
