Last evening, Jay Tea, one of the writers over at the conservative sister Website of this progressive one, Wizbang, challenged me to cite my sources for the news that I based my commentary on about the Troy King gay sex scandal. Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki says it is time for President Bush to commit to a withdrawal timetable, and has endorsed the timetable for withdrawal put forth by Democratic Presidential candidate Senator Barack Obama that calls for a 16 month timeframe. In addition, al-Maliki has specifically stated the situation in Iraq does not call for the kind of long-term (100 year) presence in Iraq as outlined and promoted by Republican nominee John McCain.
