Ohio Likely To Choose The Presidential Winner Once Again

In every presidential election since 1964, Ohio has voted with the winner and the vote has similarly reflected the national vote percentages as well. For this reason Ohio remains as the most important test-lab state in clues as to how...

Obama Takes the Lead in Pennsylvania, Ohio and Florida

This is great news for Democrats! For the first time, White House hopeful Barack Obama leads his Republican rival John McCain in three of the biggest battlegrounds of November's election, according to a new poll Wednesday. The surveys by Quinnipiac...

New Polls Show Clinton's Strength

"When it comes to November, Sen. Hillary Clinton's strength is a big edge over Sen. Barack Obama among white voters, who have not given a majority of their votes to a Democratic presidential nominee since Lyndon Johnson in 1964," said Peter A. Brown, assistant director of the Quinnipiac University Polling Institute."

Do or Die Has Come and Gone

Do or Die Tuesday has come and gone - Good riddance (Jon Stewart video clip). The press has done America no favors in the way they've covered the elections to date.

If Hillary Can Out-Campaign Obama, Imagine What She'll Do to McCain

If the press scrutiny Obama faced this last week had been occurring for the last two months the delegate count today would be an entirely different story. Fortunately, when we reach the convention in August we will have the benefit of super delegates who can vote to reflect the realities there in August, and the Democratic party won't have to settle for the candidate who was able to bamboozle the most delegates out of the voters -- aided by a complacent and fawning press.

NAFTA, Rezko Loom Over Today's Primaries

Today Barack Obama stands in the cold shadow of those controversies, and we now can see that the whole "new era of politics" that Obama has promised was nothing more than political posturing.

Let the Debate Continue

There was one point in last night's debate where in the middle of a complex answer it became obvious that Obama was repeating his stump speech word-for-word, strengthening my impression that the fellow sometimes has difficulty staying focused. Does he not realize that he's repeating a speech verbatim? Or is he just unable to stop himself -- and in either case what does that say about his expressed willingness to run off and engage every despot and rogue leader in a dialog of Kumbaya Obama-goodness?

Clinton Hits Hard in Ohio, Compares Obama to Bush

The gloves are definitely off, and this should dispel the persistent MSM meme that Clinton's valedictorian-esque closing to the recent Texas debate was her 'swan song'. She's still a fighter, and she will be slugging it out all the way to the Democratic convention floor in August.

Clinton TV Ads - Ohio and Texas

The Clinton campaign has launched two new ads (see video). The first is for Texas. Despite the feel-good closing in last night's debate that earned a standing ovation, in her Texas ad Clinton continues to obliquely hit on Obama as all hat and no cattle with this "rolling up her sleeves and getting to work" ad, while the Ohio ad keys off Hillary's midwestern roots and her endorsement former astronught and U.S. Senator John Glenn.

Clinton Leads in Critical Swing States While Obama Operatives Attack

Hillary Clinton continues to lead in several key "swing state" primaries -- Ohio and Pennsylvania, but the Obama attack machine continues to work overtime, spinning reality in a manner that would make Karl Rove downright jealous...

Obama Sweeps Three, Focus Shifts to Texas and Ohio

Hillary Clinton held a 65% to 35% advantage among California Latino voters aged 18-29, and maintaining that strength in Texas is becoming the linchpin of the Obama/Clinton race for Democratic nominee. It's time for Barack to learn to speak Spanish, quickly.
