Nice to see Sarah Palin is reprising her role as "the victim." Poor Sarah -- after lying and portraying President-elect Barack Obama as a "Socialist who pals around with Terrorists" for the last few weeks of the 2008 Presidential campaign "Sarah the Victim" has re-merged into the public spotlight, wondering out loud about lies she claims were and still are being told about her.

Both John McCain and Sarah Palin have clear ties to the far right John Birch Society organization. McCain used to attend John Birch Society meetings in the Phoenix, Arizona area and is well known to local John Birch Society members in that area's chapter. And Sarah Palin has been featured in the John Birch Society publication, THE NEW AMERICAN Magazine before. Both McCain and Palin may even be full fledged dues paying members of the John Birch Society as well.

While the McCain-Palin Campaign continues to misrepresent Barack Obama's $1000 middle class tax cut proposal by falsely claiming that he will raise taxes on those earning less than $250,000 a year, it was actually Sarah Palin who ran on a...

During the last eleven days, speculation about the emergence and path of Hurricane Sarah has grabbed everyone`s attention, not because of her policies, the ones she admits to having, they seem fairly conventional, right-of-center GOP boilerplate, but because of her...

And one of the worst problems for McCain has been the conservative bloggers and the right wing of the Republican Party who only continue to stand behind Palin rather than see the light that she will only mean a near certain McCain defeat in November. Those that continue to stand behind Palin must be too young or too arrogant to remember the 1972 and 1984 electoral disasters of McGovern and Mondale, largely due to their troubled vp selections. But this crowd is into hard core right wing ideology struggles and is blind to political reality grounded in rationality and objectivity. Well, they'll have four years to think about this looming electoral loss.

Well, if John McCain intended to steal a little of the headlines from Obama this week, then he certainly succeeded on that account, but maybe for all the wrong reasons. Once again McCain proved he picks unusual choices to delegate responsibility to that have only seemed let him down before. And once again McCain has proven that he's a sort of a guy who refuses advice and makes his own decisions, but which often turn out badly it seems. Once again McCain's judgment to lead is called into question.
